The Youth Ministry of the European Province of the Augustinians of the Assumption is looking for a communications volunteer for a one-year assignment starting in September 2026, renewable once.
Based in Paris, with offices in Denfert-Rochereau and accommodation at the Adveniat youth hostel in the 8th arrondissement, this mission is aimed at young people wishing to put their skills at the service of young people and the Church, in a community, international and deeply human setting.
A mission to serve young people in Europe
The Youth Ministry Commission of the European Province of the Assumptionists is responsible for accompanying young people throughout Europe. Led by Brother Romel and a team of Assumptionist religious, it works to develop pastoral proposals adapted to the younger generation.
The volunteer will play an active role in this mission in several ways:
- communicating Youth Ministry activities and projects via social networks and the website;
- organizing and promoting events;
- visual design for digital and editorial communication
- writing articles for the website
- Help with the administration of the Pastorale des Jeunes office
This mission will contribute directly to strengthening the support and solidarity actions offered to young people in Europe.
Profile required
The volunteer must :
- have a good level of French ;
- digital and editorial communication skills;
- love team spirit and coaching young people ;
- be able to participate in pastoral projects and events;
- enjoy community life and intercultural exchanges ;
- Be curious and open to discovering Christian life and how it works.
Mission conditions
- Mission start date: September 2026
- Duration: 1 year, renewable once
- Working hours: average 35 hours per week
- Accommodation: in an Assumptionist community at the Adveniat hostel (Paris 8e)
- Gratified volunteer work
In accordance with the VSI law, volunteers are entitled to a minimum of two days’ leave per month of assignment for commitments of more than six months. Any overtime is compensated by time off.
