I discovered the various volunteering opportunities offered by the Assumption by joining the Adveniat hostel for 3 months as a volunteer (from April to June). I was able to carry out many tasks in the service of this establishment and was fortunate to live in community with the Assumptionist brothers during that time.
Through the magic of encounters and following this life experience, Brother Romel offered me the chance to extend the adventure through a one-year volunteer placement within the Assumption’s youth ministry. The missions entrusted to me resonate strongly with my aspirations, as do the values upheld by the Assumptionist community. I therefore accepted without hesitation, happy to once again grow alongside them and to live another rich and deeply human experience.
I am delighted to be able to contribute, at my own level, to the various projects that the youth ministry offers to young people. It is a joy to feel engaged in a mission that is meaningful to me. Today, I wish to put my skills at the service of a meaningful project that goes beyond a simple career path.
I am convinced that this year of volunteering will be a wonderful human and spiritual adventure. Community life and the projects we will carry together will offer me the opportunity to learn, to grow, and to meet even more people who will undoubtedly leave their mark on me. Always keeping in mind this desire to pass on and share with others.
