“The preparation and support from the DCC were fantastic: I was always so much in need of fellow volunteers and experienced, interesting people to talk to. I lived in community with Vietnamese Assumptionist religious my age, who introduced me to their life.
I taught French for them and, in this way, developed professional skills. The Vietnamese welcome was very warm.
I visited several Asian countries: China, Cambodia. It was a great opening to the international scene.”
