For over 20 years, the Assumptionist community in Lille has been welcoming students and young professionals in a setting that is studious, fraternal and open to the world.
Located close to the Catholic University (10 min walk), the Cormontaigne metro station (3 min) and the city center (15 min), the house brings together seven religious and students/young professionals of different nationalities.
Inspired by the spirituality of Saint Augustine, home life is based on sharing, simplicity and conviviality. Each member keeps his or her own pace, while taking part in a joyful communal life: shared meals, times of prayer, services around the house, twice-monthly reflection evenings and two weekend retreats a year.
Our proposal has a twofold objective:
- Provide a calm, stimulating setting for study or work,
- enable each individual to grow humanly and spiritually in a welcoming community, driven by the desire to have “one heart and one soul turned towards God”.

Room
- 10 furnished rooms, (private shower and WC).
- Internet connection.
- Contribution to expenses: 620 euros (470 euros for room and utilities + 150 euros for meals)
Common areas
- Chapel, library, TV room, dining room, garden.
- Washing machine available.
Service
Help with upkeep of communal areas, cooking at weekends.
