The Youth Ministry of the European Province of the Augustinians of the Assumption is looking for a communications volunteer for a one-year mission starting in September 2026, renewable once.
Based in Paris, with offices located at Denfert-Rochereau and accommodation within the Adveniat youth hostel in the 8th arrondissement, this mission is aimed at a young person eager to put their skills at the service of young people and the Church, in a community-based, international, and deeply human environment.
A mission serving young people across Europe
The Youth Ministry commission of the European Province of the Assumptionists is responsible for accompanying young people at a European scale. Led by Brother Romel and a team of Assumptionist religious, it works to develop pastoral proposals suited to younger generations.
The volunteer will actively participate in this mission through several areas:
- communicating the activities and projects of the Youth Ministry on social media and the website;
- organising and promoting events;
- creating visuals for digital and editorial communication;
- writing articles for the website;
- assisting with the administration of the Youth Ministry office.
This mission will directly contribute to strengthening the support and solidarity initiatives offered to young people across Europe.
Profile sought
The volunteer must:
- have a good level of French;
- have skills in digital and editorial communication;
- enjoy teamwork and working with young people;
- be able to participate in pastoral and event-based projects;
- appreciate community life and intercultural exchange;
- be curious and open to discovering Christian life and how it works.
Mission conditions
- Start date: September 2026
- Duration: 1 year, renewable once
- Working time: average of 35 hours per week
- Accommodation: in an Assumptionist community at the Adveniat hostel (Paris 8th)
- Paid volunteering
In accordance with the VSI (International Solidarity Volunteering) law, the volunteer is entitled to a minimum of two days of leave per month of mission for commitments longer than six months. Any overtime worked gives rise to equivalent compensatory rest time.
